I've been sitting in Psalm 146 and 147. I find myself easily answering the question, "Who is God?" when I am here.
He is so encouraging. Listen to what he is doing.
"...keeps truth...executes justice...gives food...gives freedom...opens the eyes...raises those who are bowed down...loves the righteous...watches over strangers...relieves the fatherless and the widows...".
And then in Psalm 147, busy bee God is...
"building up...gathering together...heals...binds up wounds...counts the number of the stars...calls them by name...casts the wicked to the ground...covers the heavens with clouds...prepares rain for the earth...makes grass to grow...gives the beast its food...takes pleasure".
For some reason he reminds me of a little kid that has just learned to share, so wanting to give their new found friend something they have in their hands. Like, "Here, here, take it." Quite sweet and beautiful.
